FACTS
A formal inauguration ceremony of the college was performed by Shri Morarji Desai, (the then Chief Minister of Bombay) on August 15, 1954. The first batch of the college comprised 1800 students and within three years the numbers swelled threefold. The college has an air-conditioned auditorium with a seating capacity of nearly 600 people. It also has a parquet indoor badminton court and a community hall within its campus.

The college runs a number of associations including Alumni Association, Psychology Association, Science Association, Sindhi Association. Amongst the various clubs and circles run by the college are The Cherub's Club (English Association), The Culture Club, The Health Club, and The Nature Club. K.C. College is also a member of the Rotaract Club, the prestigious worldwide movement under the Rotary Club. The college also runs a Women's Development Cell and a Vigyan Kiran programme along with various other workshops for the benefit of the students.
